New Committee for 2021
The Raheny Heritage Society AGM and EGM were held last night on Zoom.
2020 was an extraordinary year for the society, with face to face meetings of the Society ceasing in mid-March, and have not resumed to date. Starting in November 2020, the Society began holding its members’ meetings to great success on Zoom.
Many of the Society’s usual activities were either curtailed or did not take place during 2020. We only held one public lecture in 2020, we didn't have an annual outing and the annual Rose Festival, was cancelled.
But the members were busy behind the scenes carrying out research, reprinting our book 'Raheny Footprints', and members contributed to a series of newsletters called 'Jottings'.
