Raheny Heritage Society presents a free public talk in Raheny Library on Thursday 21st March at 6.30 p.m. From Grain to Flour: Excavations at the Early Medieval water mill of St. Marys Abbey, Dublin will describe the exciting discoveries in 2018 by Ian Russell and his team of archaeologists in central Dublin. This will shed light on Raheny’s heritage, captured in the name of the local “Watermill Road”, “Watermill Park” and “Watermill Lawn”.
