This event will feature talks on John McGahern and Donagh O' Malley.
The event will begin at 11 am and will include an opening talk by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Cllr. Michael MacDonncha followed by a lecture on John McGahern by well-known McGahern scholar Dr Eamon Maher of Tallaght I.T. This will be followed by an open forum.
A light lunch will be served from 12.30 pm until 1 pm.
Following which Dennis McIntyre will speak on Donagh O’ Malley and Cllr. Neil O'Callaghan will give a talk entitled " In a fast moving Ireland, now should our education system respond"?
The event is set to finish at 2.30 pm.
