James Joyce & Arthur Griffith, Two contrarian Dubliners by Anthony J. Jordan.
James Joyce was first introduced to the Irish public by Arthur Griffith. Though Joyce wounded Griffith gravely, the latter continued to support and advocate for him. Joyce celebrated Griffith in Ulysses, as both achieved their lifetime goals in 1922.
Anthony J. Jordan is a biographer, his latest book is Eamon de Valera, 1882-1975: Irish Catholic Visionary.
